| OUR VENUE –The Puyallup Fair & Events Center,
Puyallup, WA The three largest indoor exhibit areas at the Western
Washington Fairgrounds are transformed into turn of the century Victorian
villages with hundreds of merchants in Victorian attire presenting their
unique gifts and hand crafted items. Interspersed among the shops are
indoor courtyards covered in emerald green carpet illuminated by Victorian
lampposts adorned with garland and Christmas decorations. Christmas music
fills the air and the feeling is magical!
Pavilion Main Floor features strolling musicians, along with
Gigi’s Café and a festival Information Booth. There are 98 10’ x 10’
Victorian exhibit booths to explore. The booths in this building have
green curtains along the sides and across the back of each booth.
Expo Hall is located right near the bustling Gold Gate entrance.
Shoppers can visit and have a photo taken with Santa, enjoy a tasty snack
from Gigi’s Café and visit 93 elegant 10’ x 10’ Victorian stores. The
exhibit booths in this building will feature white curtains along the
sides and across the back of each booth. Special
Offer for vendors with Hand Crafted items: Vendors in the Expo Hall who
create and sell at least 85% of the products in their booth can qualify
for a $190 booth fee discount. Simply request the contract addendum to
apply. Two handcrafters can also share a 10 x 10 space for $400 each.
ShowPlex, the newest and largest building at the fairgrounds, is
home to the Holiday Jubilee Theater which seats over 1000 and features
professional stage shows playing throughout each day, along with the
beautiful Singing Nativity presented each evening. There are over three
hundred 10’ x 10’ booths with green curtain along the sides and across the
back, plus a few 6’ x 10’ spaces which are completely open in front (no
Victorian store fronts) with 3’ high curtain along the sides and 8’ high
curtain across the back. ShowPlex also includes the Winter Wine Garden and
the Festival of Foods, a food court with a wide variety of dining options
and an extensive seating area.
FREE PARKING—Parking at some venues can be challenging and
expensive. For our event, we pay for the cost of the parking throughout
all five days of the show so that parking is free for both our guests and
every merchant.
PROFESSIONAL ENTERTAINMENT is one of things that makes A
Victorian Country Christmas so special. In addition to strolling
musicians, we feature a variety of professional stage shows each year
filled with wonderful music, comedy, dance and dazzling costumes. Our
Singing Nativity (presented once each evening and twice on Saturday) is a
grand musical presentation of the Christmas story with singers in
beautiful Victorian attire. All Shows and events are free with
admission.
ADVERTISING

GUIDELINES FOR ACCEPTANCE
All products are juried prior to acceptance into the show. Samples, photos
or web site links must be provided so we can evaluate whether the products
are a good fit for our show. Some product lines are closed early due to
product saturation. We want everyone to have an opportunity to achieve
their best sales.
VICTORIAN STORE FRONTS One of the things that gives our festival
a very unique look is the Victorian store fronts we set up for each 10’ x
10’ booth. The storefronts have a header that goes across the top of the
booth. Each header is 10’ wide and approximately 3’ high. These headers
are supported by 16” posts, and we place one post under each header seam
which results in an opening of approximately 8’ 8”. There are many
different styles and colors. (Some examples are shown in the illustration
below.) The store fronts are set up so that all the different styles and
colors are dispersed throughout each exhibit area; specific requests for
certain styles or colors cannot be accepted. The back and side walls are
curtains draped from metal poles and cross braces.
